Living in the wild places of Africa and being close to its wildlife has always been my dream. Growing up in Germany, this dream seemed a little bit out of reach. When I visited Africa for the first time, I was where I belonged: in the Bush.
Soon after I changed my modern life for the African bush and I’ve never looked back.  
I qualified as a field guide and am living my childhood dream: being close to free roaming animals. I started working in a conservation project in the Greater Kruger before becoming a freelance guide for private safaris and finally launched Wild PhotographiX, my own safari company.
I was always interested in photography but it was in the wilderness where I got completely hooked on it!
There is nothing quite like nature’s unpredictable rhythm and understanding animal behavior is my biggest passion.                   
You never know what will unfold next. Maybe you wake up to lions roaring, watching a newborn elephant taking its first steps in its life or you follow wild dogs into the setting sun…
Whatever happens, I feel privileged to witness these moments which I would like to share with you.
