Most of my days are spent out in the African bush, guiding photographic safaris and sharing my love for wildlife and photography with others. 🐘📸🌿

But when I’m not behind the camera or on game drive, l love slowing things down - enjoying some downtime at home in Hoedspruit. Catching up with friends 🍹, hitting the padel court 🎾or heading out on little adventures with my dog, Lennox 🐶⛰️

There is a giraffe outside my window! That was a first in 7 years living here! 🦒

I was working upstairs in my studio aka office when Lennox got up and looked out the window: a beautiful giraffe bull was standing only a few meter away in my driveway feeding on the first fresh leaves growing on a tree 🌿
He was so relaxed. I just sat on my windowsill and watched him devour some fresh leaves. After the dry winter months this must have been such a sweet treat 🤤

Doesn’t happen that often to find myself eye level with a giraffe 😉
